kathmandu . Leo District Council 525B1 is organizing the Leo Social Business Challenge 2021. As the organizer, it is a wonderful platform where newcomers from any background and age group come together to see their dreams come true.
From the organizer team Mr.Birat K.C mentioned, “This social business challenge strives to gather innovative ideas that can address social challenges through sustainable business models.” While adding Mr. K.C told that- they had already opened a registration form that needs to be filled out by a group of interested and dynamic people, which enterprise, the maximum number of people in a group is only three.
Registration began on May 20, 2021 and will end on June 4, 2021, which is already started. Meanwhile, addressing the floor Mr. K.C told that, they have excellent information seminars, which aim to answer any questions or concerns our attendees may have. They strive to raise awareness of social business challenges by disseminating information as widely as possible. Information sessions mainly target people who are unfamiliar with this notion. After the registration time is up, we go to each entry and select the top 30 finalists. Our internal organizing team will make this decision. The top 30 will be chosen based on their content, the viability of their business model, the demand for such a model in society, and their application materials.
Mr. K.C added that, the top 30 finalists will participate in various trainings and workshops according to their business concept. After analyzing their growth and the feasibility of their business model and how they present it, the judges will make a decision and a winner will be chosen.
The winning team will initially receive a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and investors will also have the opportunity to pitch their views. This brings us to the end of our Leo Social Business Challenge 2021. So, the organizing team is announcing the opportunity among the young people to participate in this program to start their own startup with investors.
